Reflexology

Clinical reflexology is a non-invasive complementary treatment which is activated by your body’s natural healing processes via the manipulation of the feet. Reflex points are connected to corresponding areas of the body. The main reflex points are situated on the soles, tops and sides of the feet - this is an extremely effective way of achieving natural equilibrium within the body, particularly the endocrine or hormone system.  By applying pressure to the reflex points you can expect to find the following benefits; boost circulation, increase energy, relieve stress (chronic), induces a deep state of relaxation, eliminating toxins from the body. The more ‘toxic’ the body is, the greater the healing response experienced, such as;  headaches, fatigue nausea and general malaise. Aftercare would be provided by the practitioner to combat/alleviate these conditions.

Reflexology can be traced back to the ancient civilisation of India, China and Egypt. The oldest known documentation of Reflexology is on the pictograph below, found in the tomb of an Egyptian physician near Cairo, illustrating patients having treatment on their hands and feet.
